Article: Sen. Snowe Introduces Bill to Amend Internal Revenue Code

WASHINGTON, July 28 -- Sen. Olympia J. Snowe, R-Maine, has introduced a bill (S. 3715) to "amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 and the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 to provide for the treatment of eligible combined defined benefit plans and qualified cash or deferred arrangements."

The bill, introduced on July 24, was referred to the Senate Finance Committee.
