The city of Las Vegas issued the following press release:
The city of Las Vegas has been awarded $360,000 in state funds to be used for the design, fabrication and installation of two gateway features and eight street topper signs in the 18b The Las Vegas Arts District. The funds, provided by the Nevada Department of Transportation's Landscape and Aesthetic Community Match Program, will be added to an additional $350,000 previously awarded by the Las Vegas Arts Commission to fund the iconic gateways.
