Article: Martial arts school teaches self defense, self esteem

There's much more to martial arts than learning how to kick your opponent, says Sherry Moore.

She runs Billings Mixed Martial Arts with her husband, Mike, and her 23-year-old son, josh Doggett.

They teach tae kwon do and jujitsu, and just about everything in between.

"We want to inspire self-esteem into every child and adult we meet," Moore said.

They also want people to be safe and to teach children how to handle bullies and women how to protect themselves from assault.
