Article: Australian Inventor Develops Inkjet Printer Cartridge

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 7 -- Kia Silverbrook of Balmain, Australia, has developed an inkjet printer cartridge with uniform compressed air distribution.

According to the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office, the invention relates to an "inkjet printer cartridge including an elongate body housing a printing fluid storage and adapted to be received within an inkjet printer cradle, a pagewidth printhead attached to the body and in fluid communication with the printing fluid storage, and an air distribution assembly arranged to evenly distribute compressed air along the pagewidth printhead."

The inventor was issued U.S. Patent No. 7,083,273 on Aug. 1.
