The city of Denver issued the following press release:
On August 8th, voters will become a part of Denver election history. For the first time, voters will no longer have to vote in their own precinct, but will be able to vote at any of 47 new Vote Centers around the City. For convenience, these Vote Centers are located within 2 miles of any residence in Denver.
For fast service, each Vote Center will have between 8 and 20 more voting machines than the former precincts. Also for the first time, disabled voters will be able to vote in private, without assistance.
