WASHINGTON, Aug. 10 -- Sen. Robert Menendez, D-New Jersey, has introduced a bill (S. 3770) to "require a pilot program on the facilitation of the transition of members of the Armed Forces to receipt of veterans health care benefits upon completion of military service."
The bill, introduced on Aug. 1, was co-sponsored by Sen. Frank R. Lautenberg, D-New Jersey. It was referred to the Senate Veterans' Affairs Committee.
