Gov. Mike Easley, D-N.C., issued the following press release:

Gov. Mike Easley today announced that Kidde Aerospace and Defense, makers of aircraft and vehicle fire protection and suppression systems, will expand its facility in Wilson County, creating 131 new jobs and investing $3.4 million over the next three years. The announcement was made possible in part by a $150,000 One North Carolina Fund grant.
