face=+Bold; Jim Scanlonface=-Bold; , a health and social services counselor at Durand Elementary School in Vineland, was the winner of the school's Starfish Award, presented annually to recognize an outstanding counselor from the Vineland School District. The award was the highlight of the annual staff development workshop held recently at Cumberland County College. Scanlon was among 12 counselors nominated for the award.
The Starfish Award goes to the counselor who exemplifies a love of children, dedication to the profession of counseling and goes above and beyond the call of duty regularly.
