Article: INCREASE IN EXPENSES JACK UP FILSYN'S LOSS

HIGHER operating expenses drove up Filsyn Corp.'s losses in the first semester.

In a report to the Philippine Stock Exchange, the company said its losses amounted to P9.46 million or higher than the P7.3 million posted in the same period a year ago.

The increase in losses was mainly due to higher expenses, which went up to P8.28 million from P5.66 million last year.

Filsyn's expenses under "other charges," meanwhile, decreased to P1.18 million from P1.64 million.
