Bergen County Executive Dennis McNerney and the Department of Health Services encourage residents to observe National High Blood Pressure Education Month during May by adopting healthy lifestyles to promote prevention and control of high blood pressure.

"High blood pressure is a major public health problem, and National High Blood Pressure Education Month provides a perfect opportunity to learn more about the dangers of high blood pressure and the ways to prevent it," said McNerney.
