Article: CITY COUNCIL RECEIVES RECOMMENDATIONS FROM WATER CONSERVATION TASK FORCE

The city of Raleigh issued the following news release:

Year-round water conservation measures, more restrictive mandatory conservation rules and a more comprehensive water conservation public education campaign are among the recommendations contained in a report issued April 4 by the City of Raleigh Water Conservation Task Force.

The Water Conservation Task Force is an advisory group whose members are appointed by the City Council. The task force is made up of volunteer representatives from a cross section of water users, including residential, commercial and industrial customers.
