The Colorado Department of Agriculture issued the following news release:
For a day Morgan County and several of its residents had the opportunity to know what it feels like to be a star. Specific background scenes were selected, individuals were "wired" with a microphone, the light was turned on, the film camera began rolling, and the interview questions began. Some appeared veterans in front of the camera; others were obviously nervous and shy.
The questions revolved around Morgan County's implementation of the National Animal Identification System (NAIS), a nationwide uniform system for all animals of any given species to support survey, control and eradication of animal diseases. The ...
