This work, Thekkekara's doctoral dissertation completed at Leuven, is a fairly successful attempt at exploring the significance of "Christ is all and in all" in Col 3:11b. T.'s methodology is historical-critical, well executed, and productive of a careful exegesis (this reviewer detects here the influence of one of T.'s advisors, J. Lambrecht, S.J.).
