NEW DELHI, India, Aug 20 -- All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) scored another first by performing Asia's first robotic surgery for urinary bladder cancer on Saturday. After the success of the robotic surgery on a 42-year-old man, the procedure will be repeated on another patients on Monday.
The procedure, known as Robotic Radical Cystoprostatectomy (RRCP) is arguably the most difficult operation in urologic surgery."It is a complicated procedure but I have done this in USA and Egypt before.
