Article: Printer expands into related areas

With over 80 printing companies operating in the Quad-state region, one would expect each to specialize for survival. But Garon Gembe, president of Greencastle-based Graphics Universal, Inc., says his company doesn't aim for a particular niche. "Being a full-service printer is what has allowed us to grow."

Graphics Universal has annual sales of approximately $6 million; "More in 2000, less in 2001," says Gembe. Fifty-two people are employed at its 28,000 square-foot facility in the Greencastle-Antrim Industrial Park near 1-81.
