This meeting derived from a merger between the Asia Pacific Conference on Plant Tissue Culture and the Asia Pacific Conference on Agricultural Biotechnology. It was organized by the Institute of Molecular Agrobiology (IMA), the National Institute of Education (NIE), the National University of Singapore (NUS) and the Agri-Food and Veterinary Authority of Singapore (AVA) under the auspices of the Singapore National Academy of Sciences.
