The Arizona Democratic Party issued the following news release:

Washington, D.C. insider Jon Kyl has used more than $500,000 in oil and pharmaceutical special interest money during his campaigns to hide his failure to put Arizona first. Inside the Beltway, Kyl is part of the problem, not the solutions Arizona families desperately need.

"Jon Kyl leaves us behind every time he heads to Washington to pick up more special interest checks and cast more votes that hurt Arizona families," said Arizona Democratic Party Chairman David Waid. "Jon Kyl is the problem with Washington, D.C., not the solution."
