Article: United Way board approves first-ever public policy agenda

The United Way of Central Ohio Board of Trustees recently approved the organization's first-ever public policy agenda. The agenda serves as a road map for the organization's advocacy, and identifies United Way's focus for its public policy work.

"We are pleased by the board's decision to adopt the public policy agenda," said Janet Jackson, UWCO president. "This agenda allows us to focus our time and energy, and lead on public policy issues that will affect positive change in the community."
