Article: MISSOURI SUPREME COURT ORDERS TRANSFER OF GREAT RIVERS TIF SUIT TO MISSOURI COURT OF APPEALS FOR WESTERN DISTRICT OF MISSOURI

The city of St. Peters issued the following news release:

The Supreme Court of Missouri has ruled in favor of the City of St. Peters' request and refused to take the appeal of the judgment entered in favor of the City by the Cole County Circuit Court regarding the St. Charles County and Great Rivers Habitat Alliance TIF lawsuit.

The Plaintiffs in the lawsuit challenged the City's adoption of TIF financing in support of the Lakeside 370 Development project, and Missouri's TIF Act. The Plaintiffs who brought the suit are the Great Rivers Habitat Alliance, St. Charles County, Adolphus Busch Revocable Living Trust, Andrew Riney, Dolores Wetzel, Randy Hudson and Allen Poggemoeller.
