Article: SHEEN ON CEDAR RIVER DISCOVERED IN CEDAR RAPIDS

The Iowa Department of Natural Resources issued the following news release:

The City of Cedar Rapids reported discovering an oil sheen on the Cedar River Monday.

The Cedar Rapids storm water coordinator is currently investigating the sheen, which appears to be coming from two storm water culverts below the "Five in One" dam on the west bank of the river.
