California State University San Bernardino issued the following press release:

Cal State San Bernardino saved its best team effort for the final round, closing with a 14-over-par 294 Friday to earn a tie for seventh place in the NCAA Division II Men's Golf Championship.

The Coyotes' top four golfers shot rounds of 73 and 74 to move up from a tie for eighth into a tie for seventh, missing their goal of a top five finish by 10 shots as the 72-hole tournament at The Resort at Glade Springs in Daniels, W. Va. drew to a close.

Senior Ryan Plummer (Winnemucca, Nev.) continued his steady play with a 73 to finish with a four-day total of 288 - eight over par and finish sixth out of 105 golfers ...
