The Indiana Department of Natural Resources issued the following news release:

Amateur photographers are invited to showcase their talents Sept. 9, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., at Spring Mill State Park's 6th annual amateur photo contest. Photo entries must have been taken at Spring Mill State Park to qualify.

Categories include themes of family fun, nature and pioneer village. The photographer must designate category of entry. An overall "people's choice" award will also be given. Contestants are limited to three entries per category. First, second and third place awards will be given.

Entry forms may be picked up at the Spring Mill Inn, the park's nature center or by calling (812) 849-4129. ...
