AT first, she won't feel any pain; she might not even feel it coming but cervical cancer may be forming inside her cervix. This is a form of cancer that can be unbearable if not immediately detected.
Cervical cancer is the second most common cancer among women in the world. The World Health Organization (WHO) records about 490,000 cases a year. Every two minutes, a woman dies of cervical cancer.
More than 50 percent of the cervical cancer deaths occur within the Asia Pacific region. In Asia Pacific, there is an estimated 266,000 cases of cervical cancer diagnosed each year, with approximately 143,000 dying from this debilitating disease.
