ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 6 -- Efrem Orozco Jr. of Orland Park, Ill., has developed attachments for power tools having hammer mechanisms and selectively operable in either a rotation mode or rotation-hammer mode.

According to the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Power tools of the type under consideration include hammer drills, for example, which are electric or battery powered and includes two modes of operation: a rotation mode and a rotation-hammer mode.
