Main Street Morgantown and Beckley Main Street have been recognized for the second year in a row as semifinalists for the Great American Main Street Awards.
The two Main Street programs are among 20 from across the nation that have been selected as semifinalists for the annual awards.
The Great American Main Street Awards are sponsored by the National Trust for Historic Preservation and the financial services firm of Edward Jones. The awards are designed to recognize exceptional accomplishments in revitalizing America's historic and traditional downtowns and neighborhood commercial districts.
