The University of North Carolina Wilmington's Honors Scholars Program welcomes 120 incoming freshman Honors Scholars into the four year-academic enrichment program. These students, who earned an average high school grade point average of 3.9 and Scholastic Aptitude Test (verbal and math) of 1300, have excelled in and out of the classroom. In high school, these students lettered as athletes, earned scouting distinctions, led school organizations, and volunteered in the community.
