The New Mexico Department of Tourism issued the following news release:
Pancho Villa State Park will host a "Classic and Custom Car Show" as part of its first Mexican Independence Day Fiesta, Saturday, September 16, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Visitors can listen to Columbus village trustee, Roberto Gutierrez, recount the historic events of 1810, when Father Miguel Hidalgo y Castillo led Mexico's fledgling struggle for independence from Spain.
