The office of Sen. Charles E. Schumer, D-N.Y., issued the following press release:
Sen. Charles E. Schumer today announced that the Cooperative Extension Association of Madison County has received a $29,829 federal grant from the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) under the Farmers Market Promotion Program (FMPP). Funds will be used to improve the ability of Agricultural Extension Agents to provide assistance to farmer's market managers and vendors in their communities through the development of targeted training materials.
