Auburn University issued the following news release:
"George Washington: A Great and Good Man" will be the subject of a Constitution Day lecture at Auburn University to commemorate the 1787 signing of the U.S. Constitution. John P. Kaminski will give the lecture Monday, Sept. 18, at 4 p.m. in Haley Center, room 2213.
Kaminski is founder and director of the Center for the Study of the American Constitution in the Department of History at the University of Wisconsin at Madison. He has written or edited 15 books, and directs the 19-volume "Documentary History of the Ratification of the Constitution" series.
