The U.S. Department of Justice's Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms & Explosives' Nashville Field Office issued the following press release:
A Nashville man, who stole 20 kilograms of cocaine at gunpoint from an undercover police officer during an undercover drug operation last April at a Nashville hotel, was sentenced to 480 months in federal prison last week, announced Jim Vines, United States Attorney for the Middle District of Tennessee. Thomas Marquais Thompson, age 25, pled guilty in March of this year before U.S. District Judge Robert Echols to conspiracy to distribute more than five (5) kilograms of cocaine; possession of firearms by a convicted felon; and using and carrying a ...
