Article: French Inventors Develop Pressurized Fluid Distributor

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 19 -- Vincent Ligneau of Mions, France, and Ludovic Veyret of Brindas, France, have developed pressurized fluid distributors which are used to enable one or more downstream devices.

According to the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The invention concerns a fluid distributor, in particular a hydraulic manipulator comprising a body, a pressure reducing valve mounted in the body comprising a plunger mobile in translation and whereof the displacement is controlled by a push-rod, a control member including at least one finger for modifying the position of the push-rod, means forming a solenoid mounted in the body, a frame adapted to be driven in translation ...
