The government of Estonia issued the following news release:

The Cabinet meeting, which took place after the government session, focused on issues regarding the termination of the railway privatisation contract.

The Cabinet decided to instruct the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Communications to begin negotiations with AS Suprema Securities, a representative of the BRS. During the negotiations concerning the termination of the privatisation contract of the majority shares of Eesti Raudtee by agreement of the parties, the primary conditions provided in Suprema's offer by must be taken into account.
