Irvine's Pacific Hospitality Opens Napa Resort; CEO Busch Has Winery Nearby

Newport Beach attorney Tim Busch is known for helping build Catholic schools in Orange County.

But the Michigan native has made another mark on the building front, with a growing portfolio of hotels operated under Irvine-based Pacific Hospitality Group.

Pacific Hospitality now owns four hotelsthree in OC-worth about $162 million, according to industry sources.

The most recent venture took the group outside the county to Napa Valley, where the Meritage Resort opened in June.

The Napa hotel signaled another new direction for Pacific Hospitality.
