Agra/New Delhi, Sept 25 -- Brajesh Singh follows his routine every morning spraying his bottle

gourd field on the outskirts of Agra, with chemicals for a healthy crop.

The use of high dose of chemicals helps his produce to grow abundantly big, which brings in the moolah at the end of the day.

But Brajesh, like millions of Indian farmers is unaware that his dependency on pesticides over the years may have led to dangerously high levels of the toxins making its way into everyday foods such as fruit, vegetables and even milk.
