The Georgia Department of Agriculture issued the following news release:
An Oregon company is recalling several types of nacho tortilla chips because they contain soy protein without listing it on the label. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to soy protein run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these chips, Georgia Department of Agriculture Commissioner Irvin told consumers today.
Snack Alliance, Inc., of Hermiston, Oregon, is voluntarily recalling approximately 32,000 cases of nacho flavored tortilla chips having a best by date (which can be found in the upper right hand corner of packages) prior to and including FEBRUARY 7, 2007. The ...
