The Colorado Department of Agriculture issued the following news release:

The Colorado Department of Agriculture is expanding its crop certification program to provide Certification of Origin for Colorado spinach growers.

"The Department of Agriculture is eager to help our growers in Colorado get their product back in the marketplace," said Colorado Agriculture Commissioner Don Ament. "Colorado spinach farmers offer a healthy, safe product and we're hoping by offering the Certification of Origins that spinach gets back in the grocery stores and farmers' markets as quickly as possible."
