The town of Cicero issued the following news release:
Cicero Town President Larry Dominick will kick-off Cicero's weekend-long Mexican Independence Day Celebration at 5:00pm on Thursday, September 14 at 34th Street and Laramie Avenue in Cicero. The celebration is co-sponsored by the Cicero Mexican Cultural Committee.
The daily Mexican Independence Day Carnival and Festival will include live traditional music and traditional Mexican food. The Carnival runs from 5pm-10pm on Thursday, Sept. 14th and Friday, Sept. 15th and from noon-10pm on Saturday, Sept. 16th and Sunday, Sept. 17th.
Friday night, September 15th, will feature the El Grito de Dolores on the main stage at 34th and Laramie Ave at ...
