Article: UNITED KINGDOM: TRAINEE ROYAL NAVY CHEF AIMS TO COOK UP TREAT AT CORNISH FOOD FESTIVAL

The government of United Kingdom's Ministry of Defence's Royal Navy issued the following news release:

A trainee Royal Navy Chef from Cornwall will be among a number of HMS Raleigh personnel hoping to show off their catering talents at the Cornwall Food and Drink Festival today, Friday 29 September 2006.

Chef Kayleigh Gentry, from Metherell, is approaching the end of her 26-week Defence Chefs Course. Along with a fellow Navy trainee, she will be assisting her instructors in cooking up a treat for four members of the public who will be invited to taste the food prepared by the Royal Navy team during two live demonstrations at the festival.
