The FBI is seeking the public's help in identifying the "Goofy Hat Bandit," a male bank robber who is believed to be responsible for up to as many as two dozen bank robberies in Southern California since October 2005. The Goofy Hat Bandit robbed the City National Bank on 3500 West Olive Avenue in Burbank, California, as recently as yesterday. The Burbank robbery occurred at approximately 11:00a.m, which is consistent with the Goofy Hat Bandit's normal modus operandi, which is to rob mid-day or before noon .
