The Judicial Council of California issued the following news release:

WHAT: The California Supreme Court will hold its sixth annual student outreach program in the historic Mural Room of the Superior Court of Santa Barbara this week. More than 750 students will attend the special session where justices will hear oral arguments in eight civil and criminal cases. The first three cases will be broadcast live by California Channel, a public affairs network (www.calchannel.com.)WHEN: October 3-4, 2006, starting at 9 a.m. each day.

Live Broadcast: Tuesday, Oct. 3, 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
