Article: BRIGHTON CITY COUNCIL PASSES RESOLUTIONS SUPPORTING ISSUES OF NOVEMBER BALLOT

The city of Brighton issued the following news release:

The Brighton City Council has passed resolutions supporting ballot issues on the November ballot that are of vital importance to the community.

The first resolution of support was for the School District 27J Ballot Measure 3A. The City Council recognizes the importance of quality education in our community and that the current class sizes throughout the District in the elementary and middle schools are an impediment to quality education for our youth. The Council also recognizes that quality education is a critical element of the City's economic development program and that quality education also improves the health of our young people ...
