The 1997 Annual Meeting of the Transportation Research Board (TRB) included several sessions on congestion and mobility management topics. Four sessions were devoted to congestion pricing topics, one focused on the integration of management systems, and one summarized the diversity in perspectives on congestion and mobility developed in a series of regional workshops held in 1996. Sessions also focused on research, practices, and a look to the future.
The following is a summary of the topics and speakers for tape-recorded TRB sessions relevant to congestion and mobility management. Preprints for these and other sessions are listed in the preprint summary. (See box below.)
