The University of Alabama at Birmingham issued the following news release:
The UAB Comprehensive Cancer Center and FOX6 WBRC have embarked on a yearlong partnership to reach television viewers in Alabama with the latest information on cancer. The collaboration, which features news segments about cancer-related topics, call-in panels and other outreach efforts, is the first of its kind for the Cancer Center and is expected to reach tens of thousands of viewers throughout Alabama.
The partnership will launch February 22 with a news segment introducing viewers to the Cancer Center. Each month, FOX6 WBRC will feature two cancer-related stories by anchor and health reporter Devon Walsh. Stories, ...
