Texas A&M University issued the following news release:
A small army of Winter Texans has been deployed in the Lower Rio Grande Valley to watch for a possible invasion by a devastating citrus disease. Citrus greening is considered by scientists to be one of the most serious of all citrus diseases, responsible for the loss of some 60 million citrus trees worldwide.
