New Delhi, Oct 10 -- Delhi Police will interrogate South African batsman Herschelle Gibbs on Thursday in connection with his alleged involvement in a match-fixing case, ahead of their Champions Trophy match.

Gibbs will be grilled by the Crime Branch of Delhi Police, Deependra Pathak, Delhi Police spokesman, told reporters here today.

"On the 12th of this month, Herschelle Gibbs will be questioned in the investigation going on against him here in India. A Crime Branch team of Delhi Police will question him. The team will be led by a Joint Commissioner Crime," said Pathak.
