Article: British Inventors Develop Tuneable Dielectric Resonator

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 13 -- Peter Petrov and Neil McNeill Alford, both of London, have developed a method of tuning a dielectric resonator uses a ferroelectric element to change the dielectric resonator electric field and hence the resonance frequency of the dielectric resonator, the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office announced.

The inventors were issued U.S. Patent No. 7,119,641 on Oct. 10.

The patent has been assigned to Southbank University Enterprises Ltd., London.
