Article: CUMMINS SELECTS INDIANA FOR PRODUCTION OF NEW LIGHT-DUTY CLEAN-DIESEL ENGINES

The Indiana Economic Development Corporation issued the following news release:

Gov. Mitch Daniels today joined Cummins Inc. executives to announce the selection of the Columbus Engine Plant (CEP) as the production facility for the company's new family of light-duty clean-diesel engines. Cummins plans to begin manufacturing of the new engines by 2010 and will create 600 to 800 new jobs within two years of the product's launch.
