The government of Sweden issued the following news release:

The Government has decided today to send one election monitor and six election observers to Tajikistan ahead of the presidential election on 6 November.

"The election is important for creating continued stable and democratic development in the country. By sending election monitors to Tajikistan, Sweden can contribute to the development of a functioning electoral system in the country," says Minister for International Development Cooperation Gunilla ...
