ATLANTIC CITY - Even though a decision on the future of Bader Field's prime real estate is some time away, one agency is already trying to figure out how to get people to and from what is eventually built at the former airport.
Officials with the South Jersey Transportation Authority, or SJTA, confirmed that they are in the early stages of figuring out how to link Bader Field with the Atlantic City Expressway, which the agency operates.
Gaming analysts believe gaming entrepreneur Steve Wynn is planning a return to the resort he bailed out on in 2001 and will announce plans for a gaming hall. Those plans could include linking the Bader Field site with the expressway, they said.
