The city council of Providence issued the following press release:

Council President Pro Tempore Balbina A. Young announced today that Ward 11 and the Providence Parks Department will co-sponsor the dedication of the Ruth Williams Memorial Park on Saturday, October 21st, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Davey Lopes Recreation Center Playground, 227 Dudley Street, Providence.
